Jeff, I have a different view of reality and cognitive processes than many. If you imagine a unicorn, there are things physically happening inside of your brain that makes them real. Let's say I'm a future scientist doing fMRI scans. I say, "Show me a Unicorn with your mind". Up comes a set of patterns that correspond to Unicorn. The Unicorn is real. Or I'm an artist. I draw a Unicorn. The Unicorn is real. It's not that difficult to make something real. You may imagine so, yet incorrectly. I'm not so different than anybody else on this planet. I just know people tell me I'm abstract. So, whatever. They're probably right. But while I understand sarcasm, I tend to ignore it. In my case, I think it's because I do a lot of creative works that make perfect sense to me, and make sense to other people once I've explained it and they go, "Oh,, I see it now" - but inbetween, they just don't get it. I don't know why. Ah, but I wouldn't do that. If they have errors, I'll correct them. Historical errors, correcting basic reasoning flaws, but not to the extreme of whipping out ye ol' fallacy chart and such.
