I wonder if there is a relationship between the Rishi and the
   Heyoka of the Lakota and the Holy Fools of Eastern Orthodox
   Christiandom... they certainly seem to fulfill a similar purpose
   and, when within supportive surrounding culture, are afforded a
   similar amount of respect.
