You'll have a _very_ hard time arguing against Semiotics and
   structuralism; not impossible of course - it's got the perfect
   little trinity thing going for it... and once you start seeing
   triangles that tie apparently disparate things together,.. its
   dang hard to break up a strong triangle.

   You could shift towards

   some appeal, although it could be said that it's simply a
   re-introduction of binary opposites again, and I suppose one
   could take a semoitic view of deconstructionalism... and you end
