The lag within is something I've been studying for a time, both
   subjectively and utilizing whatever limited data is available
   through scientific and other experiential data across time.

   It's true; we compare what we just saw with what we expected we
   should've just seen, continually..We extrapolate from the past
   (it's ALL the past, even the present) and predict the future.
   But the future comes at it blindly and as many dreams may come
   of perfect predictions of the future, it's the stuff of legends
   and dreams.

   Still I'm glad science is trying, continuing the efforts of
   astrologers in years past in the tradition of prophets and
   soothsayers throughout time.
