   we learned that "No, there's not a little man inside of you
   watching a movie screen". It's considered a fallacy.

   And yet...

   the more they learn about consciousness... the homunculus
   _seems_ to be more and more true. They'll never call it that..
   too much invested in its denial. Yet anytime scientists *try* to
   investigate the nature of subjective experience... it's not so
   far off from this.
