Sometimes I think of it as "whole Universe" terms - the
   interconnectedness of it all. Othertimes, I amuse myself by
   considering all of Life on Earth as a giant Slimemold that has
   existed for millions and millions of years. It changes how I
   view communication and use of words too.* Right now, you and me,
   talking over the Internet?* the Internet would just be a medical
   implant in the organism to allow better chemical messages to be
   sent back and forth to each other.
