I feel bad for people much of the time: They have anger and hostility and they are accustomed to fighting. So, they approach me with that attitude. I have to be patient. They have to go through the process that they have to go through. I wait. I listen. I'm understanding. I argue back when appropriate. But then there's a point where they realize, "Wait, he's not fighting me, is he?" And they finally let their guard down and they're human. It's good to find the human in someone. I always search for it. Takes patience sometimes
