* I spent five or six months trying to capture every thought. Literally. It was a project. Used lots of index cards. Many thousands. I had little stations by my computer, bathroom, car, bedroom, kitchen, with index cards and a pen handy, plus ones in my pocket. It wasn't "every thought" but it was every question really, or every realization. Went through many of them. I wanted to see if anything would come out of it. What came out of it? A lot. Several pens later, piles of index cards and a year and half later of saved web browsing history [started in April 2013]. That's about it so far. [1]7 mins * [2]Like * [3][IMG] [4]Kenneth Udut I've incorporated what I've learned into my very thinking processes, so it's hard to have a "before" and an "after". I can look at the cards, look at my notes, but as it's part of an ongoing processes, I only abstract "what works" from myself when it's pertinent to something someone wants to know. Time management, dealing with interruptions, keeping thoughts clear, keeping emotions from being extreme unless necessary, the most efficient way to accomplish tasks, how to do anything. I can write about all of those things, accurately, correctly and even succinctly. But... For me to apply them as Universals, I'd be lying because this is the only brain I have the slightest chance of knowing.
