Nicole Andre Karn yes - I believe a lot of literature on babies
   is plain out wrong when they limit intelligence to ability to
   speak. I think language capabilities JUST start around 3 months
   (I tend to believe the "4th trimester" idea that babies aren't
   fully baked yet) but the muscle control takes a while to learn;
   and learning patterns to incorporate and reuse.
