I'd worry about the cry-wolf syndrome as well. But I'm sure
   SOMEBODY out there has done a study showing the effectiveness /
   lack of effectiveness of safety procedures like fire-drills and
   such... at least I *hope* so... sometimes ideas are implemented
   without follow up studies among large groups of ppl.. :/
