lol it is - and i agree with it. It's especially true if you are in a life of service to others, which i believe you are - and sometimes a life of service can be a dreadful experience. Its why suicide rates and mental breakdowns in helping professions are so high - some ppl really can't handle the strain and their ships crack apart. But I don't think you're a hollow shell - I do think you're aware of your own hollowness, which I think makes you amazing bridge between the functioning and the non-functioning helpers - you understand both sides while you stand in the doorway with a foot in each world.
