Paranoia Aug 12, 2011 Paranoia. Mass hysteria. suspect your neighbor. Report anything suspicious. Community is dead. Our social fabric is shredded with no chance for cohesion. Divide and conquer is a military strategy yet we squabble over petty differences and trust no one, not even our neighbor as we draw and fortify boundaries. Does anyone else see this happening in America? People tear down rather than build up. Rather than work with the best our cohorts have to offer we politicize and posture. These are dangerous times, not because of terrorism, but because of terrorism and our own suspicions. With paranoia we invite the terrorists in. The solution is trust. Each one of us must reach out to someone and establish a measure honesty. We must prove our reliability to one another, if there is enough time. The boundaries are steep. The dogma and bureaucratic quagmire may be too overwhelming. A common value system may not exist anymore whereby we can base our trust upon. kbushnel.sdf-us.org/contact.html
