i've been listening to SDF's aNonradio most of the day, first time 
i've listened live for an extended period of time (have listened to 
some archives previously). i feel very grateful that there are people
putting their time and energy into creating such original and engaging
shows, for its own sake. i also logged into COM and actually chimed
in here and there for the first time. i've logged in a few times before,
recently, but only 'peek'ed. 

while listening, i've been working on re-wiring all my (largely analog)
video art gear into this wooden case e & i have been working on recently,
and finally finished. every time i have to re-wire my rig, i start to 
regret getting into this stuff. i was fully draped in cables and cords 
earlier, and while i've made some definite progress, i'm still wading 
through it all. i think about the fact that i could have been outside
in the springtime, instead...

i think one of the downy woodpeckers might have stopped back by for the 
first time in a long time, earlier! this morning i started a section here
for my dream journal. maybe soon i will make a section for my bird journal.

there is a vinyl 'funk, boogie, disco, rare grooves' party this evening
at a local event space. it's being thrown by the friend i mentioned in 
my log from last sunday. there's a very small group of people that go 
to these things. it's great to have a chance to dance in town, at long
last, and to be building some sense of community. 

i'll go outside tomorrow!
