e dj'd at a local night organized by our new friend. 
i got to play a dvd of some of my video art on a big
prjection screen at the back of the space. the other
dj was a super-talented local with wonderfully 
eclectic taste, and the owner of the space created an 
awesome vibe drawing from his collection of vintage 
lighting gear. it's so strange to have an opportunity
to dance in our town. some folks kindly gave me 
positive feedback on my video.

continuing to study for ham radio technician test.
apparently the 'hamvention' happens in ohio in a
little over a month, and free testing is offered.
would be cool to go if can figure it out.
