 2026-01-01: 
    Happy 2026, lets hope for a big wipe-out in this year's
    midterms!  December 2025 weather wise was interesting, it
    reminded me of Decembers in the 70s and early 80s.  Small
    Snow Storms once a week or more and the lake froze.  I do not
    know if it is safe to be on, but in the past, usually it
    would be safe by Jan 1.
