#How I Got Back to Running At the end of last year, I got sick. Really sick. It took four months to recover and in that time I lost almost all of my physical conditioning. I loved to run but couldn't really do it anymore; I needed to get going again. There are lots of programs that help people start running but most follow the Couch to 5k model and I've never had any success with that. So, I decided I'd do it my own way and it worked well.
