I'm not sure if you've heard of it but there's this show called Red
Dwarf. It started back in the late 80s. It's the perfect mix of
British sci-fi and British comedy. I discovered it some time in 1988
one weekend afternoon. The ABC (here in Australia) went through a
phase of playing unusual programs at that time of the week. Something
in the show resonated with me and I'm still watching it 36 years
later. Of course it's not on an analog VHS tape like it was in the old
days. It's now all fully digital across the wifi from my Plex server.
But that doesn't matter. Even after all this time I can still marvel
at how much of a smeg head Rimmer is.
