## 22 Finishing

Sometimes it's hard to finish a list of tasks, my own private to-do list. During the last weeks, I had a new task to do each day... Sometimes it's leasure, sometimes it's for my job, sometimes it's to maintain and carry out work in the house. Plumbery, Garden of Photography, all is in the to-do list. But I finished some of my goals for that month.

The first part was to finish sorting the pictures. 35000 renamed and graded. It's perhaps not perfect but I needed it. And then I had to backup in 3 other places. Now it's OK and I could define the best one in that mess...You'll see it soon, ha ha. With 4 cameras OK or repaired, 2 digital and 2 film, I have the choice to take pictures again. I understood why my old Kodak Z740 was better for Concert photography...Just a matter of aperture of the lens. Nice for a camera under 100€ 15 years ago...Now I don't think I will do many concert photography. I prefer to live it, to participate and not to look at a screen. Only 5 or 7 pictures among hundreds are OK for me. But I also understood which camera is good for what type of picture. I understood what I want as post-processing. A picture is sometimes never "finished" as a painting. But for me it's not a painting anymore.

I finished a new part of the French blog and I'm very happy. A new era for that blog is beginning and I have to finish that year to really begin with it. And for that english blog, I'm quite happy to be able to write a smaller post each week with something interesting ...or not. It's what I wanted : A live journal like that old website I knew 20 years ago. Now I have something different to finish, it's to have the mirror of the French blog inside. I began that 2 years ago but it's a huge and long work. With that new part, I have also to create something new here. Just a need to slow down to do that. WIth 3 posts a week considering the two blogs, it's too much. As someone I know, 1 post a week on the French and 1 post each two weeks on the English could be a good solution. I will try it during the summer, because there are fewer readers.
