## 44 Black Friday ? 

I don't even remember when is the Black Friday because it seems to be during a month, now. How many adverts and spam emails did I receive during this period? I didn't count them, but fortunately some of them are filtered out beforehand. Quite simply, I don't read them anymore. Did I miss something ? I just used the camelcamelcamel website to see the evolution of prices on amazon to see how it's often a joke. They are playing with with the prices, considering how attractive it is, other prices on the market, etc...That's capitalism, not dopamine, as said someone.

I don't need to buy things compulsively. It's not a drug but I must admit that sometimes I buy things I don't really need...Do we need games and consoles :-D

Of course not...but in that particular moment, I think I need it. It's certainly a way of thinking to something else, to concentrate on another subject than that fucking life (and death). And it's also maybe my "Midlife Crisis"...if only it's my midlife. I was sorting and counting how many games I have to play....More than 1000,it's a lot for the second part of my life. And I have played only the same during the first part, approximately. I'm more attracted to old games now, even if I play one or two modern games a year. But it's certainly to come back in my past, in my youth. The types of games I like are often oldschool. Look at Bubble Bobble. There's nothing comparable today but if I had to explain that the goal is to capture monsters with bubbles using dragons to do that, you will certainly send me in a clinic. I didn't create it, it's Taito, ah ah. 

I don't care about photo realism and the games I prefer are full of colours. I'm happy to see that colours are coming back on cars and not only grey, white and black. But it's not the same in fashion. I love to wear black sometimes but also red, navy blue, yellow, etc... Look at outside (ok, not now ...) and the beauty of nature with flowers, trees, birds, insects...Hum, I was talking about Black Friday and now I'm with nature... Exactly the opposite. I don't know how much pollution Black Friday is generating each year, as Christmas, Halloween, Valentine Day, etc. Growth, Growth, always that word to validate those events. Of course my job would disappear with no more people buying cars. I could do something else, because I'm not a car designer but a small gear in the design or control of a car. And I didn't see any black friday adverts for cars but it must exist, of course. I don't think that it's a compulsive buy, especially with EV prices. But when I see black Friday offers, it's often on expensive goods, 
playing with the feeling to make a good deal.

It's strange when you think that many people don't understand How fractions and calculations with fractions work. But's everyone knows that -30% is a good deal...less are thinking about the initial price, just looking at the final price. If I come back to camelcamelcamel, I have seen on many objects that the price was not higher during this Black Friday but was not the lowest during this year. Of course, the price was higher during the last month. It's like a game, too...and we all love games. But do we have the same rules here?
