That's Mr. Joe Lee, from Jonesboro, Arkansas with two songs he wrote. "Boppin At The Forest" and "Too Much Blues". Joe is a fantastic musician, an originator of the Memphis Sound, and a Jazz composer, pianist, and saxman. We'll hear some more from Joe Lee later in the show.

All right now, Joe Lee playing "Kinda Tawny" from his "Boppin At The Forest" CD. Joe has recorded so many musicians from this area. I was pleased to get to record him.

Neil Alexander is also a member of the Jazz Twibe. The Jazz he plays is decidedly contemporary with a lot of Blues in it. Here's a live performance from Neil Alexander and Nail recorded in 2006. He calls it "Bread-Man".
