Full moon Lucid dreams Fasting It's quite the weekend. I've been back into writing my dreams, which triggers more dreams and make lucid dreaming more accessible. In Taoist energy cultivation, I remember reading about how you use the physical body to accumulate chi which helps the souls to travel outside the body. When my energy is balanced I dream more, reach a lucid dreaming state easily, which is the foundation I need for out of body experience. Stabilizing my out of body state is not easy. It's useful to have a goal or a protocol. When I read Castaneda 'The Art of Dreaming,' there were a few steps. First to look at your hands, then look around, without staring at one object more than a few second, to stabilize the dream. I don't have a clear protocol when I get out of my body, so my mind goes all around and I often simply slip back into the dream world, loose awareness and then wake up in the morning. I wanted to fast for the weekend, but yesterday after talking to my family I broke my fast. I am not sure if it was related, but it felt like the discussion changed the vibration and then I couldn't stop thinking about food. I had a little snack, it wasn't that tasty after all. So far today I'm not hungry, so I might continue fasting and see. I might have a full moon, magic mushroom synth jam tonight. I haven't confirmed with my friend. If not I'd still like to have a ceremony around it. We'll see how the day unfold.
