The Great Exodus part 2

Last year I gave myself a year to
clean up the house, get rid of
all the things that I didn't
need. Only keep what I would move
when I move. It was a success,
and now my house feels very
light. I am sure I'll get rid of
more things, but if I were to
move tomorrow, it wouldn't be too
hard to pack my stuff and go.

For this year, I want to continue
this process on the financial
front. I give myself 1 year to
be completely debt free, have
some savings, and also have my
work completely mobile and multi
layered.

The debt and saving is really
simple, I just work a bit more,
spend a bit less, with a goal in
mind it won't take too much
effort. For the work, there are a
few aspect. One is portability of
the work I do at the moment, and
one is the expansion in other
fields.

For the portability, I want to be
able to do my communication work
from anywhere. So my laptop, with
some sort of battery pack, solar
and car charger, with hopefully
only my cellphone for coverage. I
also need a good online back up
of my files for work. I have my
camera already for photo and
video footage as needed, as well
as scanning my art work (I often
draw my projects and digitize them
in inkscape.) I am almost there,

I simply need to practice a few
time to see how that would work.
Moving from my main computer to
my laptop for day to day work and
seeing the limitations.

For the multi layered, I want to
add some string to my bow. How
can I make money in other ways?

 - Tattoo
 - Massage
 - Yoga and Meditation
 - Sound Journey

All thing portable that I can
take on the road, and from which
I can make money. The yoga and
meditation being what requires
the least equipment, then the
tattoo. Massage and sound journey
both requires the most equipment,
which is fine.

I like this idea, this focus for
the year. It trigger some feel
good sensation in me, which
indicate that I am following a
current that is pushing me
forward.
