The saying goes, before enlightenment you fetch water and chop wood, after enlightenment, you fetch water and chop wood. I'd say, before enlightenment, you enjoy the food at the restaurant, after enlightenment, you taste all the ingredient, separated from each other, without being cooked. It really feels like being unplug from the Matrix and then being plugged back. Kind of have to fake it for a while, hoping the illusion will kick in. Brewing a cup of Peruvian cacao this morning. I still don't brew coffee at home. I lost my percolator that I got over the summer, and when I got back home, the tenant had broken my French press. I wasn't too sure about Karate this year. I'm not getting a black belt anytime soon. It became clear last season, since we're not part of any association anymore, it would be pointless for anyone to give me a black belt. It was nice to train at the dojo yesterday anyhow. I got a good sweat, my muscles are a bit soar today. It's a bit more balanced than boxing, as I kicked a lot, kneel, elbow, knees, blocks and punch. I could technically do 2 to 3 classes of karate or boxing a week. A friend came to meet with me at the Ashram yesterday. We ended up going at the beach, sitting in the rocks, warmed up by the sun. He had some Mapacho. When we meet we talk about everything, it's pretty inspiring. He's part of my new friends group, people who knows the new me. I was day dreaming about a possible future. I didn't gave it much attention. Just debating, if this would happen I would do this and that, and if so I'd act like that. I kept it lightly in my mind, it made me smile. Then it happened, that exact event, and I was debating the same questions. I often tell myself, no I don't see the future. I just think about all the possibilities and some of them happens, which gives the impression of seeing the future. But sometime, like what happened this week, the mental vision are too clear, the sensation are too real. Yet when I was seeing the future in my mind, I was simply discarding it as a day dream. The expansion of my self into consciousness brings about a sensitivity of the future, but also of the others. It's hard to stay sane, it's hard to calm the emotional body. How can you keep your shit together if you see the future, and you hear people's thoughts? It would be one thing if you are 100% sure of your vision and what you hear, but what happens when you don't make a difference between your imagination and your inner vision?
