it don't look too good, al... i love al stewart! his words mirror other times, the music swings back and forth like a carousel ride, his lyrics twist rhyme into reason and tell perfect neverending stories in every verse...of merlin, of biplanes, of kittens and cats, of old friends in new york, of nostradamus and generals, of world wars and generals, of worlds beneath the sea. the soundtrack of my life...al stewart, donovan, the cure (of course), perhaps a legendary pink dots tune, scott merrit, counting crows, a little something REMish, but mostly al stewart...i think my next project (after, of course, splicing a disney script together from various movies to describe my life) will be to put together the soundtrack of my life...illustrated by daniel merriam. written by me. directed by tim burton. heh. but first and foremost, i must fix another wonderland. you see, i worked and pasted and made this beautiful collage on a daniel merriam painting, with paint shop pro, and i wanted to make it an imagemap, but after working so hard on the collage itself, i thought "you know, maybe i ought to use one of those publishing programs, they are supposed to make things easier, right?" well i did, and at first view i thought...wow. this will be wonderous! but then...i clicked. the polygons are all out of whack, and it upsets me to no end. grrrr. not to mention, everytime i edit anything in my index.htm file, it sets everything else out of whack because the code is all garbled and icky. so i have decided that my first time using a publisher was a complete disaster, and i will, never again, use one. only microsoft word, and only if that is taking the poems i already have on my hard drive and posting them up. grrrrrrrrrr. grr. grrr. so i appologize for the inconvience. if you see anything else wrong with the page, please tell me. since all i ever do is pitter around on my computer anymore.
