rainy days and mondays always get me down. bluesy mood, involving writing 
and not being as cool as i was in high school. desperately need to unpack 
and organize in preparation for packing and reorganizing for germany trip. 
have a list of things to do a mile long, including: getting some euros, 
making the vodcasts for the next four weeks, finding luggage, looking for 
stuff for jupitergirl, turning in my office keys, meeting with my thesis 
advisor, talking to my landlord about the possibility of renting a 
two-bedroom in august, and some house-cleaning. also want to try to sew 
something before i leave, get at least two more stories done on thesis, 
and try to learn a little german.

upon move; note to self -- getting rid of all the stuff that reminds me of 
how cool i was in high school / first part of college, and serves as a 
blatant reminder that i am no longer that cool.
