Went to a beautiful city just outside of Oslo, not so much for pleasure (although it was certainly lovely), as to register for a new passport (the old one was damaged), so I can attend my best friend Arthur's wedding. He is an airline pilot and has struck gold with Bekah, a Hungarian cybersecurity researcher who is not only very bright but also really charming. The wedding will be in Budapest in November. I have worked in this city (Sandvika) before, but the police station was a bit tricky to find. Google Maps helped me part of the way, a group of three elderly ladies helped me with the rest. The human element cannot be replaced, I tell you. Now I just have to get to work on making sure the mailbox has the right name on it, so the passport can be delivered without a hitch... I do find it weird to consider that 9/11 was 25 years ago. Tempus fugit (time flies).
