The title says it all.
Still don't know how the whole phlogging thing will end up, but I
want to try it at least.

I'm pretty new to gopher, I've started digging around only a few
months ago, but I already love it. No commercialisation, simple
and lightweight protocol (which enables you to use it on your
favourite NetBSD toaster) and fucktons of content. Perfect.

A few weeks ago I started toying with an idea of setting up my
own gopherhole, so when my friend pvinc set up his, I got the
push I needed. So far I'm going to host this place on SDF, but
I'm planning to move onto my own server, when my internet 
problems will finally get sorted out.

But back to the topic, I think I should introduce myself and tell
you a bit about this place.

So, hi! I'm 8sync and I like making stuff. Usually it's software,
but I also dabble in musical stuff once in a while. I'm into
old hardware, weird software, *wave, and (as you may have
guessed) - clouds.

The whole idea with the island came to me after looking at what
circumlunar and cosmic.voyage people have created. I hope that it
doesn't come off as too pretentious. Anyway, I'll be hosting some
of my software projects here as well as OGGs of my music.
And The Fireplace is just another phlog, i guess.
