The Society of Unknowable Objects by Garreth Brown Rating = **** The stand alone follow up to The Book of Doors mostly delivers. This time it's not books, or not just books, but magical objects of all types, and the society aims to keep them safely out of the hands of those who would use them to do harm. The story circles the globe as our heroine chases objects in Asia, Europe, and the US. I thought it dragged just a little in the middle, but I thought th ending was well done, with some foreshadowing that the characters in both books may be involved in a future novel. That might be cool.
