I had to try but then I thought my wife needs to eat, and I better check on her and the kids. Our kitty wanted to make sure I was getting ready because even she is hungry and wants some food. I get started and today I feel better having an extra hour of sleep. That cat and I go into check on everyone in the kids room. We get the updates, who ate, who needs to eat, who pooped, how much formula they ate, and who needs me to make more formula, who's next to eat. Our daughter is out of formula and our son is breast feeding so the cat and I go to the kitchen to make coffee, patte for the cat, and formula for our daughter. I also prep the oatmeal bowels with cinnamon and protein powder to keep my wife and I going. I mix up formulas for the babes and put the oatmeal on the stove. Today is bath day for the babes. They are so fun to see in the bath tub. They are right at home in the warm water, and they instantly relax and fall asleep. With just there head halfway out of the water their little bodies are buoyant and if I want the bodies all the way in the water I have to push them down a bit. No matter they still relax. When mom takes them out then the crying begins a bit, but after they are clothed they fall asleep for a couple hours. A couple of hours in a 24 hour period both babies decide they want to eat at the same time. This usually only happens when my wife isn't around. Then its me trying to keep the peace against the babes' hunger. I usually have to do something like setup a towel rolled up next to them, turn their head towards the towel, then put the bottle over the towel into their mouth so its mostly horizontal. They get to eating and appear happy. Boy = 6240 ml of 20 cal formula + some breast milk equates to 1 pound 2 oz of weight gain. This is 2.5 bags of HIP and 1 can of Similac formula. This is about 2.5($36 H) + $50 S = $140 to grow our boy about 1 pound. Girl = 1200 ml of 24 cal formula equates to 7.2 oz over 3 days. Neosure ... no calculations yet.
