# A Few Pointers - alfred's Gemlog


Despite being disappointed in Raspberry Pi's original standalone keyboard, I've found their official mouse to be excellent. It's the only mouse I use anymore, having worn out wired mice (optical and roller) from several big brands. But some feel the Pi mouse's profile is too flat. 

The trackpad on the Logitech K400r keyboard is OK; I could probably get more out of it if I were fluent in multi-touch gestures. I do like that its integration means there's one less corded item to pack when traveling.

I never had a trackball pointer - are they that much better than mice?
