Mais ou Menous Not much to report here! The mid-week passes FAST with Portuguese classes on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (or Terca-feira, Quarta-feira, and Quinta-feira). Usually I'm jamming homework on the weekend and Monday (Segunda-feira). This weekend we have nothing big planned - maybe see a modern dance show on Saturday night - but next weekend we're off to Lisbon to see Jose Gonzalez. Work continues on my Plex server. I've got docker up with dockhand (thanks Leo!) and have the primary components installed (Radarr, Sabnzbd [gesundheit] Prowlarr, Drunkenslug, Newshosting) and talking to each other. I just have those fiddly little bugs right now that are so hard to comb out. I get discouraged sometimes when I hit setbacks because I want to be DONE with this project and move closer to when I'll be writing. Keith had a bad spell where he had to stay in the hospital for a few days. I can't believe it's been almost a year of this living hell. I haven't heard anything from Tim Wick, so I don't know how he's doing. That situation is just discouraging. And we're coming up on the $^@#%! mid-term elections. I don't know what to expect and I've been avoiding thinking about it since there's nothing I can do and it's very tiring and discouraging. That's about it here in paradise! Still happy, no regrets about coming here. Everything I hear from back in the USA sounds like the same ongoing manufactured-crisis grind that was going on when we left. Hopefully things will start to turn around soon, but that's simple hope, I have no basis to expect it...
