Nginx and Ugreen I bought a small Ugreen RAID-1 box when I arrived in Europe and discovered that my 18T hard drive had not survived the journey. I had everything backed up in the cloud (and also on another drive in the US) so I just had to pull everything off the cloud. The Ugreen gives the same error to everyone - it's not configured with a trusted HTTPS cert, so you get that stupid, annoying warning. I don't understand why a manufacturer would sell something that behaves that way, but there you go. I'm trying verious cert solutions to fix it, the first of which was a self- signed cert, and it didn't fix it. The Ugreen simply complained that it didn't trust THAT cert. So then I thought, stop approaching this from the application layer, get under the hood and reconfigure the web server. Fine, and it took me a bit but I figured out that this an Nginx web server. Okay, rummaged around in the config files, finally found the files I needed to change. Changed them. Restarted the server. The files had changed back. #@%#%@! Still haven't got that one sorted. Anyway going off to play pool in a few minutes, so enough of THAT nonsense...
