Days Off Okay, so I'm retired, so I'm never actually "working." But of course I've been self-employed for much of my career, so I have no shortage of projects I want to accomplish. Right now it's the task of downloading my backups from the cloud. Big milestone, I got the bulk of my photography downloaded. Anyway the weather has been changing and it's really nice, really cool. But with that change next week it's supposed to rain all week. With that in mind I figured there's no need for us to sit inside during nice weather. So we decided to take yesterday off and go visit the OTHER castle in town (yeah, we have two). There's a bus that runs right from our front door to the castle. We got to the castle and needed lunch, and stumbled across a restaurant that only started serving lunch again after the summer a couple of days ago. The lunch was posh and not cheap, but lovely. The weather was perfect. Then we toured the castle, I talked to a nice British fellow named Nicholas. Then we took the bus back home and passed out. I took a lot of panoramic photos from the top of the hilltop castle, we could easily see Lisbon. Today I think we're supposed to go to the beach soon? So I am just doing a little organizing in the studio where I have my office. Then when the rain sets in next wee I can happily sit and work on my various projects.
