Dream Journal Last night I had one of those dreams. Very long, very involved and with that feeling of "significance." No idea what that even means. My friend Giovanna (who now lives in northern Cyprus) picked me up in Minneapolis in a tuktuk. She was driving me to her home when the tuktuk broke down, so she called a friend to come get us. I was sitting in the back of the tuktuk and I saw this heavy tractor with a lift bucket and it drove right up to my face and scooped up the tuktuk and carried us away. The friend drove us to his place which was a big warehouse kind of building and he was running his own Great British Sewing Bee. Everyone there - a bunch of folks and now me and Giovanna - were supposed to make a referee shirt with applique lighting bolts on it. We had ten minutes. I know nothing about sewing. But I decided to fake it. So I grabbed some fabric that HAD lightning bolts on it already, and went to find a place to work. But every place was full. After a lot of looking I found a place to work, but some dumpy little fellow came along and immediately asked him to help him with his shirt. I hadn't even started mine! But he was standing in my workspace so I couldn't start, and kept trying to get him to leave. Finally I kind of pushed him away, complaining that he'd cost me more than a quarter of my available time. I told the camera operators to measure the time from when he started talking to me to the present moment and tell me if I was correct. I said, "Measure right up until my mark... mark!" And that's when I woke up.
