find online, this version is unique in
that it boots a protected variant of
DOS 3.3 instead of Pronto-DOS. The disk
catalog contains a maker utility of
Pronto-DOS (as do other versions), but
the disk does not use it. I would guess
that either they were still working out
the licensing for Pronto-DOS but wanted
to ship (indicating this is an earlier
version), OR they wanted to switch to a
newer protection but couldn't find a
suitable one that was built on top of
Pronto-DOS (indicating this is a later
version).
