.TH DKCONFIG 8 .SH NAME dkconfig \- configure Datakit interface .SH SYNOPSIS .B dkconfig [ .B -d .I dev ] [ .B -n .I netname ] [ .B -c .I csc .I nlines ] [ .B -b .I baud ] [ .B -w .I window ] [ .B -ai ] .SH DESCRIPTION .I Dkconfig configures the device .I dev (default .BR #h ) as a Datakit link and gives it kernel id .I netname (default .BR dk ). Any subsequent reference to the device .BI #k name and its subdirectories refers to conversations multiplexed on this link. .P As a convenience, .I dkconfig performs a .IP .B bind("#k\fIname\fP", "/net", MBEFORE) .LP to make the dk device available to .IR dial (2). .P Option .B -c allows the common signaling channel, .IR csc , and the number of Datakit lines, .IR nlines , to be specified. .P Option .B -w sets the window size to .IR window , a decimal number of bytes. This is most important on the PC's Incon interface, which overflows if the window size is greater than 256. .P Option .B -i causes an Incon device (default .BR #i ) to be configured as the Datakit connection. .P Option .B -a causes the a serial line (default .BR /dev/eia0 ) to be configured as the Datakit connection.
