The following description of the STREK (STAR TREK) game was written
by DAVE THOMAS, the author of STREK.  Dave has since left the Locke
Computer Center, and is not available for further development. The sources
to STREK are not available for distribution.

Date: 28-Mar-79
        A new, vastly improved version of STAR TREK is now available
on the DEC-10.  The latest in a continuing stream of STAR TREK
programs, it is an expanded version of the current 'TREK' program
and contains practically every feature implemented in any other
known STAR TREK game program.  A full description of features and
use of the program can be printed out on the lineprinter by typing:
        
        PRINT  DOC:STREK.DOC/FORMS:NARROW

To run the program simply type:  R GAM:STREK
For help at any point during the course of the game type:  HELP
