This version has many new PL1022 (DPL was the old name for this) features.
Especially the IF command, along with WHILE, REPEAT, etc.  Old programs
should still work, as long as SYSIFTYPE = 0 [default].

To print documentation on the new features, type

The DOC:1022.DOC manual has NOT been revised---the DOC:1022.HST manual IS NEW.

We expect a complete update on the 1022.DOC in the future, and at that
time, a complete new 1022 reference guide manual will be available to insert
in the 3-ring binders which most people have (will be around $10).

        System 1022 is  a  sophisticated,  general  purpose,
data  management  software  system  designed  for use on the
DECsystem-10.  This system is suitable for  an  aplication
involving  generation, storage, maintenance, or retrieval of
information  for  both   conversational   time-sharing   and
production-mode batch applications.


        To run System 1022, simply type

        Documentation on the package  is  contained  in  several
files in addition to the two main manuals available for sale
in the Locke Computer Office.
These manuals include a 3-ring binder and chapter dividers:
        USERS REFERENCE MANUAL          $16.50  ($10.00 to print below +
                                                $2.25 for binder)
        HOST INTERFACE MANUAL           $8      ($3.37 to print below +
                                                $2.25 for binder)

        (The  /FORMS:NARROW  means to print it on narrow paper.
        If a 1-inch left margin is needed, use /FORMS:NARWID.)

There is a graphics program that can be used directly with 1022 data sets.
It uses a Tektronix terminal and also be used to make plots on the Calcomp
ploter and Printronix printer.  See HELP TEK22.
