       Today I avoided an important task.

       🧭 Productive Detour
       ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾
       Not intentionally. Not maliciously. Just ... strategically.

       In the process, I completed:

        * reorganizing my desk
        * renaming three files that did not need renaming
        * updating a configuration that was working fine
        * checking logs from last week
        * checking them again, in case something changed retroactively
        * making coffee with unnecessary precision
        * researching a camping gadget I will never buy
        * reading documentation for software I do not use
        * writing this post

       🏗️ Structural Improvements (Elsewhere)
       ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾
       The original task remains untouched. However, the surrounding
       ecosystem has never been healthier.

        * my workspace is aligned.
        * my folders are consistent.
        * my system uptime is reassuring.

       The problem itself remains, quietly waiting, like a meeting
       request I have not accepted.

       🔄 Momentum Conservation
       ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾
       Avoidance is productive, just not in the intended direction.

       Energy is neither created nor destroyed - only redirected into
       lower risk activities.

       If I optimize enough peripheral systems, perhaps the central issue
       will resolve itself out of respect.

       🪞 System Reflection
       ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾
       I assume this is a feature. The task still exists. But so do I.
       And today, that feels like balance.
