       A small change to the sava.rocks infrastructure today: the site 
       is no longer available through I2P or Yggdrasil.
       
       On the 2026-03-19 I joined I2P and Yggdrasil:

       While checking the logs from my Nginx Proxy Manager, I noticed 
       that both of these networks were getting roughly 5–25 hits/day. 
       That's not exactly what you call traffic. 
       
       6 months is enough for "testing the water".
       
       Keeping services running just for the sake of saying they're 
       running doesn't make much sense when practically nobody is 
       using them. So, after a little consideration, I decided to 
       shut down the I2P and Yggdrasil endpoints.
       
       The regular web, Gemini, Gopher and finger servers of sava.rocks 
       remain available.
       
       But there is a new toy
       ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾
       I've also created an interactive Telnet server for sava.rocks. 
       It felt like something was missing from the small-web collection. 
       Gopher, Gemini, and Finger were all happily doing their thing, 
       but somehow they were missing a proper Telnet server.
       
       So naturally, the only reasonable solution was to add one:
       
           telnet sava.rocks
       
 (HTM)  telnet://sava.rocks
       
       It's a little more interactive than simply serving a page, and 
       there's some fun stuff hidden in there.
       
       If you're feeling nostalgic, curious, or just want to see what 
       happens when you type telnet sava.rocks, give it a try.
       
       The invisible internet may have lost two endpoints: 
       goodbye I2P and Yggdrasil 👋 but the terminal is still 
       alive - welcome Telnet!
