So π§ Debian 13 βTrixieβ is out! π
I've been running Ubuntu Server for a while now, but every time a
new Debian release drops, I get that itch to switch.
- π§ What I Like About Debian
* It's super stable β rock solid for servers.
* Feels closer to βpureβ Linux without as many extra patches.
* Release cycle is nice and slow - fewer upgrade headaches.
* The whole free software philosophy is something I respect.
- π€ Why I Haven't Switched (Yet)
* Ubuntu is familiar. I know its quirks, and that makes admin life
easier.
* Guides and tutorials almost always assume Ubuntu first.
* Honestly, my servers are working fine as-is.
Why poke the bear? π»
- The Verdict π§ββοΈ
Debian 13 is like that cool new restaurant π across town:
tempting, exciting, but I'll probably keep eating leftovers at
home until I have a good excuse.
