It's a bit late but I also thought about the ads shown by aid agencies mainly before Christmas to collect some donations for the poor and starving people of the world. And I have to admit, those ads make me always feel bad and ashamed because I have a good living, even if I'm at the lower end with my income. But these feelings of shame and badness have turned into real anger about them. Not only have those organisations who collect donations their own share of scandals and corruptions, they also don't reach the people who *could* really change something. NO! These people also earn well from these donations, too! They sit on their gold bars and don't feel ashamed or bad the tiniest bit. They feel good! They get richer and richer and don't feel sorry for other people. Sometimes they found some kind of aid organisation, which are a joke contrary to their personal riches. And they ALSO collect donations instead of spending their own tons of money. They could stop complete hunger catastrophies with only part of their money. But they don't! But they want to look like philantropes, who COLLECT money instead of spending their own. In my youth I was more left wing, but I got more conservative as I grew older. But back then on left wing demonstrations, sometimes a Mercedes "caught fire". But in these new times you can drive Mercedes safely again. But I think they should burn again! And all those burning Mercedes are not nearly as bad as ONE, SINGLE HOMELESS who freezes to death in the winter! He could easily have been saved by the Mercedes owner for a long time still. Some people seem to think, having lots of money is simply a sign of success and should be admired, but to me it seems a sign of PURE EVIL more and more. And you can believe me, when I say I'm not envious. I don't need much anyway. But what happens when a country is endangered by a drought? The big, fat riches invest in water to sell it with fat profits to the farmers who already get by hard enough! And if grandmas little investment for her age goes down with the whole stock market, those bastards have already saved their money in gold! And who went to jail after the world finance crisis in 2007-2008? One little guy, whose guilt I even don't know. But the real rich get richer and the small private investors lost everything! And they simply continue pumping up the next bubble, just to pull out their money just before the crash through insider dealing. And everybody knows, you can't get rich with honest work. So you can assume that if someone has accumulated a bigger pile of money, then through corruption. I could go on and on because my anger doesn't vanish, but I'll stop here for now. I think the message came through. Fuck those heartless rich bastards! -fab-
