Subj : Echo changes To : All From : poindexter FORTRAN Date : Mon Oct 27 2025 07:48 am I've done some cleanup on the board, removing some networks. Micronet, Agoranet, Araknet and Survnet have been low-traffic networks for some time, and have alternatives available on the board. Micronet was a casual, general-topic othernet; FSXnet has a lot more traffic, is adding new boards weekly and had a friendly, non-political culture. AgoraNet was on borrowed time, the network operator publicly said he was going to pull the plug at some point in the future. Traffic has been trickling in, I think others may have disconnected as well. Araknet was a thriving scene network, but the founder went radio silent and one of the hubs stopped working. He repaired things last year, then his BBS and another net seems to have gone down, meaning that the network is limping along with disconnected local trafffic. 0Net is a long-standing network that's on the way up, Jack Phlash is an active member of the echoes, and looking for new interesting boards. Survnet has a lot of potential, but without more users, the many echoes make it hard to find current traffic. I've got Spooknet for more alt.science and fringe topics. --- MultiMail/Win v0.52 .
