       Have been revisiting some of the Nex protocol stuff gorf and I had been
       messing around with a year or so ago.   There actually seems to be a bit
       more interest now, not sure why.  Anyways, fixed some bugs in the nexbro
       client (gawk-based) but it still needs work.  Also realized most Finger
       daemons can be paired with a parsing script and run on a non-standard
       port to essentially act like a Nex server.  A working demonstration is
       linked below, implemented with just the native NetBSD system tools.
       
       FYI, most Gopher clients can navigate Nex on a page-by-page basis by
       setting the Type to "0" and the port to '1900'.  Better yet, Lagrange
       supports multiple smolnet protocols including Nex.
