Club 100 Library - 415/939-1246 BBS, 937-5039 NEWSLETTER, 932-8856 VOICE BANNER.BA by Mark Lutton Last week I wanted to make a banner for the Boston Computer Society Truly Portable Picnic, but would you believe that after all these years, nobody has written a banner program for the model 100? Well, I fixed that! I whipped it up this afternoon and I've just uploaded it in time for a 5th-of-july picnic, or perhaps to make a sign to hold at next year's festivities. Try it. It's short, it's user friendly, and it's not too slow if your printer is a TTXpress. Might not drive an Epson FX-286 at full speed. All documentation and instructions are within the program itself. I must admit I got the idea for using the built-in character matrix from a Banner program for the IBM PC -- which prints better looking characters because there are more dots per letter. BANNER.BA 04-Jul-86 Keywords: BASIC 100 BANNER POSTER SIGN PRINT PRINTER Print banners sideways on your printer. Tested on a TTXpress. Should work on any printer. Documentation is included within program. Model 100 specific. Uses character matrix in ROM.
