CALC ---- This is an improved version of the CALC "electronic-tape calculator" program originally published by NEC and provided as one of the programs on the cassette tape that came with the 8201-A computer. Its principal improvements are: 1. A help menu that appears prior to beginning calculations and which may be called with an at any time. 2. As a convenience, you may hit <;> or <+> to make a "+" <=> or <-> to make a "-" <:> or <*> to make a "*" or to make a "/" 3. An easy return to the MENU by pressing 4. A confirmation when exiting or clearing the tape to start a new calculation. 5. The ability to continue to recal-culate earlier calculation on the "tape" after the number of entries has topped 99. 6. A number of other cosmetic improve-ments. Notes: ----- 1. You must hit after the first entry before attempting to use any of the calculator's math functions. 2. Repeated hits of the key re-adds the last keyboard entry. 3. Enter the second number involved in a calculation before hitting <+>, <->, <*>, or . 4. "emory" stores the currently highlighted number in memory. "ecall" recalls that number as an entry which can be utilized in a calculation. A memorized number is not erased when you clear the calculator to begin a new calculation - so that a memorized number can be used in another calculation. 5. "op" takes you to the beginning of an "electronic tape" on which all calculations are recorded. You can move backward and for- ward through the tape with the arrow keys. The tape can be edited. Pressing "ottom" recal-culates the tape and goes to its end. 6. "

rint" will print the complete tape but will fail if your printer is not ready. If it fails, hit to cancel printing.
