HIMEMD.DO by James Main Kenney 1995 Documentation for HIMEM1.BA and HIMEM2.BA, which facilitate the setting of HIMEM in the M100/T102 and in the T200, respectively. Minor editing may be required. To operate: Tap any key other than "ENTER" to scroll through the list of options; press "ENTER" when the desired option appears: * Leave HIMEM at its present (displayed) value. * Set HIMEM = MAXRAM to run BASIC programs or edit text files. * Set HIMEM to allow a particular machine language program to be run: scroll until the desired filename appears. * Type a new value for HIMEM at the prompt "CLEAR256,"; if the first key pressed is non-numerical, the scrolling will resume, repeating the options list. Attempting to reset HIMEM outside the inclusive range indicated will cause a beep and an error message; press any key to return to the list or the "CLEAR256," prompt. To modify: Edit to add or delete filename/HIMEM data pairs, or to transfer them between an active DATA group (now on line 2) and an inactive REM storage group (now on lines 5 and 6 of HIMEM1 only). Note that a comma separates each datum, and that each filename (without extension) precedes the corresponding HIMEM value. When editing, keep line lengths from exceeding 252 bytes by adding new DATA or REM groups at the ends of other lines, or add new lines. The active data on the last DATA line (only) must end ",,1,,0" (now at the end of line 2). Additional HIMEM values for published programs are solicited.
