[Properties]

Praseodymium is a silvery-white, fairly soft, malleable, and ductile
metal. It is moderately reactive in air, developing a green oxide coating
that eventually falls away to expose fresh metal for further oxidation.
The metal is quite reactive in water as well, generating some heat and
hydrogen gas.
Praseodymium, aside from being a rare-earth metal, is also a member of
the lanthanide series of elements - a series that beings with lanthanum
(element 57) and ends with lutetium (element 71)
