Windows Solutions Offers Interaction and Education on the Show Floor

FIRST BUSINESS EVENT FOLLOWING THE LAUNCH OF WINDOWS95

FOSTER CITY, CA (August 15, 1995) - The 1995 Windows Solutions Conference
and Exposition features a multi-faceted exposition with hands-on education
and demonstrations of the latest in building customized enterprise
solutions. More than 25,000 Windows professionals, including developers,
IS professionals, corporate and business managers, VARs and consultants,
are expected to attend the event, which will take place at Moscone Center
in San Francisco August 30-September 1. Windows Solutions will be the
first business show to include Windows95 as a launched product.

The focus of the exposition is an interactive trade show floor, dedicated
to information-rich product presentations and featuring exhibits by over
250 of the industry's leading and newest companies with products focused
on building enterprise solutions. The interactive learning experience
extends to include a Windows95 Pavilion and the Powered by Progress
Pavilion.

Featured speakers, discussing the key issues in developing Windows
enterprise-wide solutions, are: Larry Ellison of Oracle Corporation,
Robert McDowell of Microsoft Corporation, Christine Comaford of Corporate
Computing International and Scott Adams, cartoonist of Dilbert) fame.

Following the keynote session on opening day, the Windows95 Technology and
Product Preview will feature product demonstrations of the hottest
technology categories for enterprise development integrating Windows95.
This product preview, sponsored by Windows Sources magazine and hosted by
Editor-in-Chief Jim Louderback, is open to all attendees.

Immediately following the keynote sessions on Thursday is the PC WEEK Best
Practices presentation, hosted by editorial director Sam Whitmore and
Christine Comaford of Corporate Computing International. This session
features live demonstrations of content-based applications selected by the
PC WEEK editors, Labs and Corporate Partners as "Best Practices" in
software development.

Returning to Windows Solutions this year is The Great Debate. Jesse Berst
referees as industry experts and outrageous personalities Robert X.
Cringely, InfoWorld Magazine columnist and John Dvorak, PC Magazine
columnist, duke out their points of view in one of the wildest debate
sessions to be held at a business conference.

Also planned are special after-hours events: At the Microsoft Windows95
Developers Party, Microsoft employees celebrate the launch of its new
operating system with the with the developers attending Windows Solutions.
Musicians, singers and music-loving listeners have an opportunity to shine
at the First Annual Windows Solutions Jam Session, co-sponsored by
Pinnacle Publishing.

Now in its third year, Windows Solutions explores the tools, technologies,
and techniques for building enterprise solutions. Attendees include
developers, IS managers, corporate and business managers, and
