POWERSOFT'S WATCOM PRODUCTS DIVISION JOINS THE MICROSOFT NETWORK ON-LINE
SERVICE

Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, August 24, 1995 -- Powersoft's Watcom Products
Division has joined The Microsoft Network, Microsoft's new on-line service
launched today as part of the Windows 95 rollout. Windows 95 users can
access information on Watcom SQL, Watcom C/C++ and Watcom FORTRAN 77 via
The Microsoft Network and learn more about the company's support plans for
Windows 95, announced today in a separate release.

Free 60-day trial versions of Watcom SQL for both Windows 95 and Windows
3.1 are available via The Microsoft Network. Database developers can
download the free trial version immediately to develop applications which
are compatible with the new Windows 95 operating system. Watcom will
demonstrate its Windows 95 database technology today in its booth at the
Microsoft Windows 95 launch events in Redmond, Chicago and Boston.
